Jolly Holiday 2011

Hello!

I've just returned from a lovely week away in Charmouth in Dorset, where we stayed at the lovely 'The Old Manor House' which is a listed building, with some parts dating back to the 15th century! Charmouth is a really nice little village, right next to the busy hubbub of Lyme Regis, but with a very handy bakers/butchers/local shop which provided us with everything we needed! The beach (which is much calmer and quieter than those in Lyme) was only a 5-10 minute walk away, and as we took my little Cairn Terrier, we took her for walks there every morning and every evening. Needless to say, we all had a brilliant time, and I am very sad to have returned so soon! I would be very interested to visit again off-season, as I really can't handle holiday crowds, and you can still get super weather in autumn! We were very lucky with the weather, I actually got sun burnt on the first day, something I never achieved on our week in 30 degree Arles! Ahhhh Blighty!

Hope you enjoy the photo's, the good old Yashica was my only camera companion this year, I wasn't in the mood for medium format fuji friend!
